Usually, mornings are absolute craziness. Feeding, potty, diaper changing, yadda, yadda...it usually takes about 20 minutes to get down the stairs...if we are not getting dressed for the day yet. If all three of us get ready for the day before going down stairs, add on 40 minutes. Today was a normal day. We all came down in jammies, and I started feeding Amy in the living room. During this time, I usually start making a mental list of all of the things that I did not get done the day before and all of the things I want to get down today. I make a mental schedule (actual times...ex: 9:45 - change laundry) because it's SHOCKINGLY easy for several hours to go by without getting a thing done. We are usually downstairs by 7am, but I don't usually drink my first cup of coffee until 9. Today, however, during our first feeding of the day, I made the (very proud) executive decision that we would stay in our jammies all day. Perhaps it was the Nor'easter-looming, yucky weather, I'm not sure. It certainly was wonderful though! I didn't even fix Addy's hair! I did ZERO chores...except for cleaning the living and dining rooms so that I could move the dining room table to make space for putting together her brand new "Dora Saves the Crystal Kingdom Princess Castle" she got for her birthday. Mmmm, I love lazy days!
Here we are....cozy and comfy in our jammies.....

Hooray for jammies. I wore jammies all day. I love lazy Saturdays. I think it was an excellent executive decision!
