MY daughter was the bad one! :*(

I know it happens. I know it's normal in toddler world.....BUT...a) i feel awful about the situation and b) MY daughter was the bad one! Oh.My.Goodness....

I'm going to start babysitting a little boy. He's adorable and 15 months old. He and his Mommy came today for a play date to get to know all of us. Awesome! I have the friendliest little girl in the world. So I thought. For some reason, the "pod people" invaded her tiny little body and converted into a child I do not know. She pulled any toy he touched out of his hand, she tried to hit him, she actually did hit him, she threw his Mom's phone behind our couch, and the worst...she BIT him! There were a few moments when they played nicely, but she spent the majority of the time sitting in time-out or getting in trouble. :(

His Mom handled it farrrr better than I did. I know he won't remember it, and maybe Addy won't (but she does have a pretty good memory.) Aside from the very unsuccessful meeting, I'm also a little worried about what's going on in her little mind. I wonder why she did these things, ANNND, is she worried that I'm mad at her? We had a little discussion about it as she was going down for her nap, but who knows what she is thinking.

Hmmm. On what level of the "parent scale" does this day fall? Wish I knew.

Now, off to find some fun Holiday crafts fit for a toddler!
