Addy Goes to School!

Okay, it's not even actual school. She's too young for pre-school. I signed her up for a class run through our township called "Little Explorers." I guess it's like a "pre-pre-school." She's been asking to go since I told her about it..."Momma, Addy tool??? Addy tool-bus?" (FYI: Tool=school). So, today was the big day! I, too, was so excited that I could hardly contain myself.

She did great - sang songs, did circle time, made construction paper mittens, and made a marshmellow/pretzel stick/chocolate syrup snowman....no wait...she didn't get to make the snow man. Why? Not because her mother is a lunatic about what she eats...no, no...she didn't get a chance to make the marshmellow snowman because the teacher said that Addison put the marshmellows IMMEDIATELY into her mouth once they were placed in front of herand then looked up at her with marshmellow slobber oozing from her mouth. Yuck. Then realized, "oh wait...everyone else is actually doing something with the materials....whoops."

In summary, I'd say her first day of school was a great success...with, or without, a marshmellow snowman! Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure......
