Emily Weekend: Part 2

I think "Emily Weekend" should turn into a yearly tradition. It was wonderful. The plans totally changed from going to a few Christmas parties to staying home weekend to play in the snow and bake cookies.....(but we think it turned out better!) The previous "Emily" post showed what we did on the first day: Painted pottery and made pizza. The second and third day consisted playing in the snow, visiting Santa, baking cookies, and a pretty fun breakfast!

Emily is my Goddaughter. Emily's mom is my Godmother. In my creative attempt to give meaningful gifts without spending much money, I came up with this plan. Emily really enjoys spending time with my daughter(s). Addison is really like a giant toy for Emily; Amy is still pretty new. I really loved having Emily here and seeing how happy she was to play with Addy. After talking to her Mom, I learned that it meant the world to Emily, too! Thanks for a great weekend!!!
