"Deal with the fact that pictures of 2nd, 3rd, etc children will probably be taken less often and will be far less organized."
I took SO many gosh-darn pictures of Addy when she was a baby that I organized them on my computer into folders by the week.... "week 1, week 2, week 3...." I went back to work when she was 14 weeks old, and I had a *labeled* picture of her for every week that I was home with her.
I have about 200 pictures of Amy on my phone...some of those have been put on the computer...NONE of them have been uploaded to Snapfish....NONE of them are sorted into folders according to anything.
Everyone told me that this is just what happens after the first baby. I didn't believe them. I thought, "Sure. It happens to bad parents." Yikes! I consider myself a good parent, but I really feel bad about the picture situation. (I also feel a little angry that all of those people were right, darn-it!) I look at Amy's cute little face and I think, "Gosh - I hope she doesn't mind!" Of course she doesn't mind. She's the cutest, happiest little thing. I'm just the slacker mom who doesn't do anything with the pictures I take of her.
Don't feel guilty. You'll get to organize them eventually. Just take them when you can. The important thing is that you are getting to spend quality time with your little ones!
