Who knew?!?!?! Addy understands Christmas this year. Yay! Wait - whoa!!! Addy understands...which means..... we needed a babysitter so we could buy presents...we had to hide the presents in our house...we have to spell things so she doesn't figure things out since she's a little genius... we have to actually create, for her, this magical world of Christmas and Santa Claus that we love so much. It turns out... that doesn't just exist all by itself. I really never realized all of the work my parents did to ensure that Christmas is what it is. Thanks, Parents!
(Though I must say, while it is a very strange realization I've come to, Christmas time has never been so much fun. Experiencing it through her eyes is far better than I ever thought it'd be!)
Together we can celebrate the craziness of a life full of children, chores, working, working out, eating, eating healthy, and most importantly, ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER TO BE THE BEST VERSIONS OF OURSELVES because we and all of the people we love deserve it!
