Anyway - There's Addy opening her prizes from Mommy and Daddy and sitting proudly with her awesome trophy!!!
Who's more excited? Probably me. This is what I've been waiting for since I was 15 years old and started teaching dance....to be a super-proud Mommy at her daugther's dance recital!!!! (....when I grew up. Not WHEN I was 15.)
Addy and a few of her classmates. That little guy is going to be famous one day, for sure! Look for him on America's Funniest Home Videos because he is HYSTERICAL and ADORABLE!
I love that little girl!
Considering that she is the youngest, by a few months, in her class, she did a PHENOMENAL job! Her tap dance was first. She stood completely still and tucked her hair behind her ear. (Even though it is evident from the picture that her hair was so slick to her head, there really was no hair to "tuck.") She was nervous. Aw.

Next came ballet. (Just so you know, I danced for about 24 years. Ballet was ALWAYS my favorite. I'm not sure why since my mom was always at least one of my teachers, and she hates ballet. It just happened.) She did HER WHOLE DANCE!!! The whole thing!!! And had so much fun doing it! It could have been because it was the second time on the stage, and she wasn't afraid that time. OR....it could be because she is NATURAL BALLERINA and loves it!!!! Yay! Either way, I'm SO proud of her!!!!
Heck, she could have made a funny face and ran off the stage, and I'd STILL be so proud of her.
Awww!!! She's adorable!!!I'm glad she had a successful recital! You make a beautiful proud mama!! Your header looks terrific!!
ReplyDeleteAww! I'm totally in love with the tu-tu and the silly grin. Congratulations, Proud Mama!
