Destination: CABINETS! I've been self-conscious about them since (3.5 years ago) we peeled wallpaper, spackled, sanded, and painted our entire house, but failed to clean the cabinets before painting. Hmm. Big regret.
So, Addison and I got a soapy bucket and a scrub brush....and we went to town....
After scrubbing them, I turned off the air conditioner, opened all of the windows, and turned on fans everywhere....(oh, and forced the children to stay far away from the kitchen....) and I wiped them with Scott's Liquid Gold.
(NOTE: The "after" pictures were taken long after the cleaner was dry and the kitchen was safe again!)
You're thinking to yourself, Hmm. Sounds like a lot of work with not a lot to show for it. I promise, in real-life, they look brand new. They feel brand new, as well.
After that.... I moved onto "Project: Become Rich Enough to Never Leave My Babies While Staying Home and Making Them and Other Cute Little Girls Gorgeous Bows!!!!"
This has it's own post, and it is coming soon!!! YAY!
Laundry folded by 8:30am!? Amazing! You must share your magic wand with me.
ReplyDeleteThe main reason Rob doesn't work is so that I don't have to go near the laundry pile. ;)
ReplyDeleteI never noticed your cabinets were dirty, but I totally know how good it feels to have clean cabinets!
